mile walk.

of the top reasons Tim Ferriss book, The 4-Hour Workweek, has been such
a top hit for years and years…

Is that it opens up the “possibility” for many people, that there are other
options outside of the normal 9 to 5, grind it out, that rat race type of
lifestyle that most are stuck in.

Because here’s a powerful truth very few will ever realize, much less stop
and implement for themselves and their families:

We can design our life to be exactly how we want it! Just as a home and
our clothing all have designers?

We can either design our life to give us everything we ever wanted out
of it..Or, we can stay stuck, living within the constraints and designs of
others.

How Phone Follow-up Can Turbocharge Your Business

Can you imagine winning a poker tournament and walking away from half 
of the prize money?

Picture yourself having played the rounds, having won it all, and then 
scooping up half of your chips and leaving the rest on the table forever.

I’m banging my head on the wall just thinking about.

But did you know…if you’re making money online it’s very possible that 
you’re leaving cash on the table every single month.

Why is this? FACT: Some of your visitors and customers will buy every 
single product or service you have to offer. Just by having more to sell, 
you’ll have more opportunities to double or triple your incoming cash!

This is where the real money is. Low-price sales will cover your bills, high-
ticket sales will make you rich.

I’m not talking about reports, ebooks, or even membership site 
subscriptions for continuity income.

I’m talking about top-tier sales, and you only need a few top-tier sales per
month to live like a king. By top-tier, I mean selling products or services 
with high price points.

These are programs like seminars and events, coaching, and mastermind 
groups that cost thousands of dollars (sometimes even $50,000 or more) 
to join and which net you the largest commission checks of all.

Most people will buy something less expensive, BUT—it doesn’t take many 
of these to make you several times more money online.

For example, let’s say you have 5,000 unique people per month coming to 
your sales funnel, and you sell a $10 ebook to 4% of them (200 new 
customers). That makes you $2.000. Nice!

But now let’s take all the money off the table that’s available to you and 
offer a $15,000 coaching program to everyone who buys your ebook.

Even if only 1 in 200 take you up on the offer, you’d make an extra 
$15,000 that you never would have seen otherwise from that sale, and 
would make a commission check for several thousand.

Congratulations! You just doubled your income without doing anything 
more than following up your first offer with a second one for more.

Now, the key to making top-tier sales like these for big commission checks 
is 1-on-1 phone sales.

Here’s how that works:

1) You generate a new lead by driving traffic as you normally do
2) Make sure to capture their name, email address, AND phone number
3) They get automated emails from you, and also a personal phone call to 
follow-up

Do you think that would get their attention? That will make a connection 
with your new leads that will open the door to making a sale, now or later.

Most people will not make a major commitment without time first getting 
to know who you are and what you can do for them. As soon as they feel 
comfortable, then they buy.

Also, it ensures that those who are ready to commit to growing their 
business create an commission for YOU and not some other affiliate or 
program.

Why? Because they’re not using the phone, and are leaving money on the 
table, too. A recent InsideSales report showed that over HALF of 
companies surveyed never followed up with leads by phone after capturing 
their phone number.

It’s not easy to do (it’s a lot of work and can be scary at first), but I 
strongly suggest that you commit to following up on the phone, as it’s the 
key to doubling or tripling your income

One option you have is to leverage a phone team, by hiring and training 
your own salespeople to make the calls and close the sales.

This has worked well for me, as I built a team of phone sales people to call 
my new leads and sell our higher-ticket programs, which range anywhere 
from $X.00 to $X.00.

They have proven their ability to close over and over again. It was a lot of 
work, but I’m glad I did it.

Why You Need To Totally Rethink Your Approach To Work

 

If you really understand this concept, you’ll be miles ahead of almost 
every entrepreneur out there. Every marketer. Business owner.

Every person.

This isn’t sales hype. I’m not just saying something to grab your attention. 
I’m dead serious.

So are you ready for it? Here’s the secret:

Most of the work you do is hurting you.

Let me explain.

Most of the work that every entrepreneur, every manager, every CEO, 
every COO does… is wasteful. Most of it is low-value work. And they 
shouldn’t be doing it.

How do I know this?

Because most of the work that entrepreneurs do, someone else could be 
doing it. And whatever someone else could be doing… someone else 
should be doing.

That frees you up to do only high value work. Work that YOU ALONE are 
qualified to do.

For example, entrepreneurs shouldn’t be doing administrative work. Ever. 
If you’re doing administrative work, you’re wasting your time. Hire a 
secretary. Someone else can do that work. YOU should focus on the high 
value work.

5 Proven Tips to Help You Reach Your Goals Faster

A lot of people hoping to make money online are limited to working at it 
just a few hours per day or less. If you’re working a day job and are 
frustrated that you can’t spend more time becoming financially free, I 
have some good news for you.Do you know what’s even more effective than having more time to work? 
Getting as much as you possibly can out of the time you do have available.

How Our Brains Work Against Us

There’s a meme floating around called “Scumbag Brain” that jokes about 
how the human brain works against us sometimes instead of doing what 
we want it to. For example…It’s easy to get motivated, but hard to stay 
disciplined.

Perhaps you’ve noticed that gritting your teeth and relying on willpower 
alone is not enough.

Think of the last time you were on an exercise program that did not last. 
You went to the gym religiously for several weeks…until you caught a cold, 
or missed a day. Then, it was back to your old habits and behavior again—
not to mention feelings of guilt and self-blame (which make it even harder 
to bounce back).

The key is to avoid self-criticism by understanding how your mind works. 
We all get lazy or have setbacks. The key is to get back on track again 
quickly when (not if) it happens.

Schedule 90-120 Minute Time Blocks

The easiest way to get something done is to set a specific time and place 
to do it, and then show up when the time comes. Otherwise, your goals 
and plans are not concrete enough, and you can fall into the 
procrastination trap.

It’s also a fact that people can only stay focused and productive for 90 to 
120 minutes at a time, before we need a rest or diversion. It’s impossible 
to stay ultra-productive all the time. Don’t even bother trying.

Instead, schedule blocks of time when you’ll be doing nothing but working, 
and when it’s over, STOP. Take a 15-20 minute break, or wrap it up for the 
day.

Also, treat your scheduled commitment to yourself as seriously as you 
would your job. Isn’t it just as important?

Prioritize Your Top 5 Items

It helps to list the top 5 tasks to accomplish each day, preferably the night 
before. Then, when the time comes to work, work on one thing at a time, 
starting with the most important action item of the day.

When it’s finished, move on to item #2, and so on, until done. Do NOT try 
to do two things at once! Multi-tasking is a myth and a joke.

It gives people the illusion that they are getting more done, but in reality 
you lose concentration while switching back and forth between items 
because it takes time for the mind to get caught up again.

Create an Environment for Focused Work

Your performance is affected the environment you’re in and the tools 
available to you, positively or negatively. Give your body and mind what 
they need to perform by setting up your workspace for success.

Before you start, clear out the clutter and remove any potential 
distractions. Have only one window open on your computer. Get away 
from email, phone, and social media until your work block is over. You 
can schedule a separate session for phone calls and email.

Take a Fun Break!

Lastly, don’t forget to give yourself the rest you need, in order to have the 
concentration reserves you need to fuel your work.

So make a point to schedule periods each day for breaks, leisure, and 
fun as well as working on your business. It’s just as important if you want 
to be consistent in the long run!

licensing and promoting other people’s info products and sales funnels, 
rather than creating them all from scratch.

Shortcuts…The “Smoke and Mirrors” to Online Business…

The real shortcut is knowing this… A common thread spun in this 
business?

Finding “shortcuts” and “hacks” so you can get to wealth and freedom 
faster.

Yet, how’s that working out for most folks?

Not. well. at. all.

Most think that the opposite of a shortcut is a long, drawn out path to the 
results they want.

But that’s just not the case. It’s just the opposite actually.

Think of it this way…

Say you’re headed off to the grocery store. And you won’t leave your 
home until you find the quickest path – one where there are no red lights, 
stop signs or ANY chance of road work, accidents, etc.

You’d never get out the driveway, would you?

What’s the REAL shortcut or path to take here?

It’s to get in your car, and drive straight to the store, with the best path 
you know to take.

And you EXPECT to hit a few stop signs, red lights, green lights, and maybe even to get stuck in traffic for a beat.

And that’ll be OK, right?

The late great Jim Rohn often, offer me words of wisdom almost on a 
daily basic.

Jim said "The difficulties you meet will resolve themselves as you 
advance. Proceed, and light will dawn, and shine with increasing 
clearness on your path."

The underlying path, the HACK and TRICK?

It’s that there is none.... Embrace the obstacles.

Jim sad "The more obstacles you face and overcome, the more times 
you falter and get back on track, the more difficulties you struggle with 
and conquer, the more resiliency you will naturally develop. There is 
nothing that can hold you back, if you are resilient."

The red lights and stop signs and wrecks... Walk the required walk because 
that’s reality,that’s life.

As you build a side-business that can give you an amazing life and a great 
income, you don’t need hacks and tricks.

You just need a plan, and a willingness to see it through, with all the red lights
and stop signs…

There will be Plenty of greenlights and shortcuts you’ll come across IF you 
just get your wheels rolling and you’re in gear and steering your car.

Another great piece of advice I heard, blunt as it sounds?

“Figure it out.”

Whatever barriers you come across, know we’re in the Information Age.

Google it, YouTube it, get a book or course on it, stumble your way
through it, in short… Figure it out. 

Just make sure you’re in movement as you do it. Figure it out ALONG 
the way…

That’s the greatest “hack” I know of that I can give you today!

Here’s a plan to $10K months, on a part-time schedule, even if you have 
no experience.

Many will keep searching year after year for a “hack” that’ll make them 
filthy rich overnight. They’ll search for no obstacles, no red lights.

Filling Your Lists with the Right Subscribers

Building a big list of subscribers is a lot of work. Whether you use paid or 
free methods to build your lists, it’s important that you fill your lists only 
with highly-targeted people who are passionate about your niche and are 
ready, willing and able to pay for the products you are promoting.

Here are some effective techniques you can use to make sure your lists 
are comprised only of the best possible customers who will continue to act 
on your offers for weeks or even years to come.

Kicking Out the Freeloaders

There are a lot of people online who are only looking to get stuff for free. 
These freeloaders are never going to spend money no matter what you do. 
Usually, they aren’t hurting anybody and can be safely ignored or at least 
tolerated.

But why should you have to spend time and energy marketing toward 
them?

A better plan is to keep track of who your customers are and how much 
they are spending on your offers. Cater toward your best customers and 
drop the freeloaders.

Identify Your Best Customers

You definitely want to take care of your best customers by giving them the 
best deals. You also want to give them exclusive access to new products 
before they are offered to anyone else.

Plus, you want to push them further and further up the profit ladder so that 
they spend increasing amounts of money with you.

If your tracking shows you subscribers aren’t spending anything, it’s 
perfectly acceptable to delete them from your list and let them go bother 
some other marketer.

If you want, you can send them one final email that says something like, 
“I noticed that you haven’t purchased any of my products and I wanted to 
know if there was something in particular that you wanted and aren’t 
getting from me or if there was some other reason.”

Sometimes this lets you convert freeloaders into loyal customers. But 
most of the time, this will scare them off end their trying to get free stuff 
from you.

Benefit of Repeat Buyers

Long-term relationships with your customers are always more profitable 
than short-term revenues.

Building long-term relationships with your customers is the most 
rewarding strategy for your revenues, your personal reputation, your 
company and your brand.

Treat customers as if they are your friends, rather than simply people who
buy your products. That way you can improve the effectiveness of any 
marketing program.

Share details about your personal history and family life. Customers that 
develop a genuine emotional bond with you will have a vested interest in 
your success.

How to Develop Long-Term Relationships with Your Customers

Nurture a personal relationship with your customers to create a unique 
benefit of doing business on the web.

When people believe that you consider them nothing more than a customer, they will think of you as nothing more than a marketer and soon they will stop paying attention to what you have to say.

But two-way communication can overcome this hurdle. Use your 
marketing campaign to facilitate two-way communications so that it’s easy 
for your customers to interact with you.

For example, you can include the tag line “Let Me Know What You Think” with each posting that includes an automatic link back to your own email account or web page.

That let you solicit your customer’s thoughts and opinions, reinforcing their 
importance to you and the success of your business.

Also, whenever a customer takes the time to contact you, always send a 
follow-up thank you and acknowledge how important and helpful their 
comment was to you.

This will strengthen their loyalty bond with you and your brand and make 
them more open to doing business with you in the future.

What Does Financial Freedom Mean, For You?

One of the first steps to getting what we want (and deserve) in our life is
to get CLEAR on what “blanket statements” mean to us.

Without this clarity our chance of success gets drowned out in the murky
muddy pool of confusion and overwhelm…

For example:

FINANCIAL FREEDOM

What does that mean, FOR YOU?

Millions in the bank?... A worry free life, with zero debt?

Maintaining a certain standard of living?... Getting rich and staying rich?

Again, if we’re not clear about what we personally want, we won’t be able
to put together a clear plan to make it happen.

Owning a Lambo may not light us up, but being debt free and having
$300K sitting in the bank, free-and-clear MAY??

I don’t know what it is for you?

Yet, here’s what I DO know…

In nearly every plan, nearly no one will want to be working more and
more!

We don’t want to have to work 40, 50, 60, 70+ hour weeks, just to get by.

Even though most are looking to gain true financial freedom, for most the
motivating factor is time freedom.

Because TIME is our most valuable asset!

Income we can get back. Not  so with lost time with family and friends.

We can’t get back years lost on things that weren’t truly important to us.

This is coming from my heart here.

That’s why I try to focus my own business, and, helping others to earn
a great income, that still gives them plenty of TIME to do the things most
important to them..

Why Using Traditional Media to Promote Your Online Business or Website Works

Shocking News

Press releases are short documents that are sent to news organizations to 
promote some kind of newsworthy event or development. They can be a 
good way to promote your website as long as the “hook” upon which your 
press release is built is genuinely newsworthy, and not just an 
advertisement.

The editors at newspapers, television and radio stations, and online 
newswires are always looking for content to fill their news hole. If you can 
create a professional-looking press release that newsworthy information, 
there is a good possibility that it can be picked up and it could result ina 
news story.

There are numerous only press release distribution sites that will send 
your press release to news organizations in your region or even nationally
or internationally. Most are paid, but some are free

Before you create your news release, make sure it is in the standard 
format for press releases. Editors look at hundreds each day, and if yours 
makes it difficult for them to glean the essential information quickly, it 
may be discarded without being read.

Also, be sure that what you are promoting is newsworthy and can serve as 
the starting point for a news story. Make sure to include contact 
information, such as your phone number, so they can call for an interview.

Free Classified Ads

Most people read classified ads to find used cars, apartments for rent, help 
wanted postings, and the like. But it is possible to promote your website 
using free classified ads if you know a few tricks.

Generally, websites offering free classified ads – such as Kenda.com or 
WebClassifieds.us –won’t let you post ads that promote a business or 
website unless you purchase a paid ad.

But if you write your classified ad so that it offers something of value for 
free, then you can usually get them published.

For example, let’s say you own website that promotes dog training 
courses. While you probably couldn’t get a free classified that blatantly 
tries to sell your products, you could post one that says:

“Learn five secret techniques to turn a bad puppy into a good dog. Get 
your free report at PuppyPartners.com.”

Then you simply create a short report or brief eBook, offer it on your 
webpage to people who give you their email address and not only will 
your free classified ad drive visitors to your site, but you can build a 
subscription list of potential customers that you can use to market other 
products in the future.

Free marketing sometimes requires taking some creative liberties.

Newsletters

Newsletters are short reports containing one or more article that are 
distributed according to a regular schedule, usually monthly, to a group 
of subscribers who have signed up to receive them because they are 
interested in the newsletter’s niche topic.

There are two ways to promote your website for free using newsletters: 
Including links to your website on somebody else’s newsletter or creating 
your own. The latter probably is the more valuable.

Most newsletter distributors will allow you to include a link to your web 
page in their newsletter for a fee. This is called a solo ad and if the 
newsletter is popular enough, it can be one of the best ways to quickly 
build a customer base.

If you can’t afford to buy a solo ad, some newsletter distributors may let 
you submit an article for inclusion in their newsletter in which you include 
a link to your website.

Offering a subscription to a free newsletter is a great way to build your 
email subscriber list, then creating and distributing a free newsletter of 
your very own.

Although this requires a larger time investment because you probably will 
have to create all the content on your own, the reward is that you can 
quickly build a list of dedicated and loyal subscribers.

These enthusiastic fans can then promote your website to their friends, 
family, members of their social networks, and other people who are 
interested in your subject niche.
